Keep Wayne State Safe from Cyber Attackers
Dear Colleagues,
C&IT is working around the clock to protect the university from cyber scammers, but there is only so much they can do without your help. Wayne State is seeing the highest ever volume of emails looking to take advantage of you and steal your information. Do your part to keep us all safe.
The most common attacks right now are sending weebly.com and tinyurl.com links masquerading as WSU websites. DO NOT CLICK THESE LINKS. You can access Wayne State services by typing the address (such as academica.wayne.edu) directly into the address bar on your Web browser. See examples below of what Wayne State Web addresses should look like so that you know the clues. Keep an eye out for https in the beginning of the address and wayne.edu as the last characters before a forward slash:

Wayne Connect in Safari (Safari truncates some URLs and only shows a name for secure sites, but you can click the address bar to view the full address):
