Wayne State is seeking an Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

The Associate Vice President - a new position at the University - will provide the leadership and coordination for creating and executing a comprehensive enrollment management strategy that is aggressive, innovative, and opportunistic and is consistent with the goals, mission, and resources of Wayne State. Working collaboratively with senior leadership to consistently align enrollment with academic and University priorities, the Associate Vice President will report to the Office of the Provost and will oversee the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, the Student Services Center, and the Registrar. These offices have a combined staff of over 60 professional and administrative staff. The Associate Vice President will bring particular energy to increasing the quality and diversity of first-year and transfer students and will also collaborate with the Graduate School and International Programs to develop enrollment plans appropriate to graduate and international students.

The successful candidate will be an experienced enrollment professional with a vision for what is possible and the ability to articulate and execute that vision. She or he will display excellent communication skills, a mature leadership style, formidable analytical skills, proven strategic planning experience, and an ability to generate excitement about the University's offerings and commitment to its mission. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
