Faculty Impact Newsletter

Faculty members contribute to a vibrant Wayne State University community and help further the mission of the university to create and advance knowledge, prepare a diverse student body to thrive, and positively impact local and global communities. However, because we are a large community of scholars, it is sometimes difficult to know the impact that faculty outside our units or scholarly areas have on Wayne State and wider communities. To this end, the Provost initiated the Faculty Impact Newsletter to highlight the accomplishments of faculty.

Mission of the Faculty Impact Newsletter

The Provost is committed to the development and success of faculty, academic staff, and students in Wayne State's 13 schools and colleges and views student and faculty/staff success as inextricably linked. With this vision in mind, Faculty Impact aimed to celebrate faculty successes and encourage interdisciplinary collaborations that inspire junior colleagues and students to persist and be successful in their endeavors. Although this newsletter is on hiatus, you can read all the back issues here.
