  • Assessment and evaluation
    WSU Assessment's mission is to engage faculty, staff, administrators, and students from academic and co-curricular/student services programs in an effective, sustainable process of continuous program improvement that enhances student learning throughout their time at Wayne State.
  • STARS 2.0
    The Student Tracking Advising Retention System (STARS) is a web application that interacts with a collection of Wayne State University databases. It is designed to enable convenient access to university data at both an individual and aggregate level for advising, retention efforts, curriculum tracking and program evaluation.
  • Office of Teaching and Learning
    The Office for Teaching and Learning (OTL) supports Wayne State instructors, departments, and schools/colleges in their goals for excellence in teaching and learning. The OTL provides a full complement of instructional development services and programs for instructors across ranks and disciplines, offering individual consultation services, workshops, institutes, and campus wide events to advance the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning.

    It’s essential for faculty and staff to feel connected and supported to best serve the students with whom they work. The identity-based engagement groups offered are intended to make the campus a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
