I have always had mentors and still do. The are examples for me and give me advice. Sometimes I got great advice and sometimes advice that I didnt think fit me. In both kinds of situations, having someone help me think about me research, teaching and career choices was always a help.
-Keith E. Whitfield, former Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
Academic Staff Mentoring Committee (ASMC)
The ASMC exists to create and foster mentoring relationships among academic staff members and to provide the necessary programming and resources to support those relationships.
