- Academic policies (including, but not limited to, the course review process, course approvals and student academic grievances and appeals)
- Curriculum issues
- Office of the University Registrar
- Office of Academic Program Review
- Office of Assessment
- University Course Catalog and Bulletins
- Liaison to the university bookstore
- Student learning outcomes and assessment
- The student Ombudsperson services office
- Special projects
Dr. Ellis will also serve as the Office of the Provost's representative to the Academic Senate's Curriculum and Instruction committee.
