Annual review
The annual review process for faculty members and academic staff (see Article XX of the AAUP-AFT contract) on term appointments is intended to provide feedback to faculty and academic staff members and assess their progress toward tenure (where available), promotion, or as preparation for contract renewal for non-tenure track faculty. This review delineates areas of progress as well as areas of concern. The annual review process is intended to assist the faculty or academic staff member prepare for their continued success at Wayne State University. Note: Tenured faculty do not receive an annual review.
Copies of completed annual reviews should be maintained in the departmental personnel file for each faculty and academic staff member.
